Board of Directors
The Chamber of Commerce at Anthem's board of directors is here to serve the business community whether it be through organizing monthly speakers, celebrating the opening of a new business with a ribbon cutting, selecting the recipient of the Small Business Person of the Year Awards, or maintaining the Web site.
We gladly support our members and want to help build the economy. We donate our time in hope of motivating others to feel as passionately as we do about doing business in a small town.
Eric Kilstrom, Founder
Smart Financial Mortgage
Eric is the founder of the Chamber of Commerce at Anthem, and the founder and director of We Care in Anthem, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping those in need.
Maggie Chamberlin, Technology Director
Maggie is responsible for the Chamber website and its online promotion. She also prepares and distributes our bi-monthly enewsletter, maintains the facebook page, and supports the Chamber marketing committee.
Dave Newham, Business Owner of the Year
Rayne of the North Valley
Dave is the 2012 Business Person of the Year and his role within the Chamber is to bring new ideas of how we can help make the business community better and the Chamber stronger.
Doug DeMuth, Membership Director
Doug is responsible for the Chamber’s membership. He facilitates the promotion and education of the Chamber’s many benefits to current and new members. When Doug is not promoting the Chamber, he is actively support the Rotary Club at Anthem and his business leads group, Preferred Businesses at Anthem (PBA).
Debbie Drotar, Liaison
Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce
Debbie works on staff at our parent Chamber, the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce and is our liaison. She leads membership development strategies, organizes Business for Breakfast meetings and After 5 Mixers. Debbie also sends members print collateral on upcoming Chamber events and follows up on new member leads.
Jenna Kollings, Community Liaison
Anthem Community Council
Jenna's role on the board goes hand-in-hand with her role with the ACC to initiate strategic planning, build partnerships for the benefit of the community, and encourage economic growth in the North Gateway.
Bonnie Smith, Women's Event Organizer
First American Title
Bonnie is the driving force behind the new Women's group with the Anthem North Gateway Chamber. She is responsible for the overall planning and finding keynote female speakers for the events. Bonnie is also involved in the Back to School Clothing Drive charity.
Shelly Spence, Public Relations Director
Shelly is responsible for the Chamber's media relationships and she also supports the Chamber marketing committee. Shelly is proud to support and promote many organizations through her community magazine including the Sheriff's Posse, We Care in Anthem, Rotary, and North Valley Arts Council.
